"My core teaching is about alignment. I believe most of us have lost the harmonious connection between the mind, body and spirit. I have devised and teach Conscious Movement™ to restore this connection.

Much of work is customised one-on-one programmes incorporating intuitive blends of yoga, massage, meditation, Alexander Technique, Trust Yoga and Conscious Movement.

Partner style yoga has been a fundamental method I use and I have recently developed Trust Yoga, incorporating the principles of Conscious Movement to develop our relationships with ourselves and others."

In his personalized, one-on-one sessions, Jules Paxton gives some clients a vigorous workout with insight into what he calls Conscious Movement; others are massaged and realigned therapeutically, with a focus on a particular physical ailment still other are instructed in some of the more refined and mysterious workings of the mind and spirit.

Much of Jules Paxton's work is shaped by the Iyengar method of yoga and the Alexander Technique for alignment and movement. The true magic, however, comes from his own insights and innovations that have emerged from his study of the body, its anatomy and energy. He teaches: “It is in the synthesis of seemingly opposing energies that we find peace and harmony, power and freedom.”

Working with Jules Paxton , you will receive an oddly harmonious experience: you're at once grounded and lifted, pacified and energized, relaxed and focused, made lighter and stronger.

"I mainly work in a one-on-one context, working closely with a client to find the right solution or program to meet their needs.

I have clients that come to me with chronic back pain, sports or exercise injuries I also see people with relationship and emotional problems. I have worked successfully with people suffering from Bell's palsy and also extreme grief, even the grief at the loss of a child.

I see people who want to achieve the body beautiful. I also use Trust Yoga (partner style yoga) in my sessions; people are (safely) held in yoga poses that allow them to experience weightlessness and deep states of relaxation."
